The management of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, (IBBUL) has reiterated its commitment to strengthening the existing partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) so as to achieve mutual benefits.
Professor Muhammad Nasir Maiturare, made this known while receiving in audience the state coordinator of NYSC at the university’s Management Committee Room (MCR).
The vice chancellor, who noted that NYSC is one of the most effective unifying institutions for diverse Nigerians, assured that IBBUL would continue to support and engage meaningfully with the state NYSC board for mutual benefits of the university and the scheme.
The state NYSC coordinator, Mrs. Fumilayo Ajayi, disclosed that the visit was aimed at appreciating the school management for the profound support they always give to corps members posted to IBBUL.
“We are as well here to strengthen the harmonious working relationship existing between the two organisations. But more importantly, my office has identified IBBUL as a critical stakeholder that always gives wonderful reception to corps members deployed to serve in the institution,” she said.
