Beautiful Yoruba actress Toyin Aimakhu used to be married to Tinsel actor, Adeniyi Johnson, a perfect gentleman if you ask me, although the dude allegedly love women too much, which led to their separation.
But instead of Toyin to date forward, she dated backwards by going for a man who although has same look as her ex, can not measure up in terms of class.
The new man, Seun Egbegbe, a movie marketer is reputed for his association with members of the notorious Lagos NURTW.
It wasn’t long before Seun began threatening Toyin, and there were even allegations of battering.
Seun had continued to brag and brandishing heavy threats against Toyin, until this week, to the shock of many, came out publicly to apologise to the actress on Instagram.
“I hereby regret any inconveniences i might have caused Toyin Aimakhu. she’s is an A-list actress, anyone who wants to do business with her should deal with her as a celebrated artist. I wish her the best…,”
Seun unbelievably apologized.
When he made that statement, at first, many people were asking whether his account was hacked, but only for Toyin’s camp to announce minutes later that Seun was arrested two weeks ago, detained and later released on bail.
According to Toyin Aimakhu’s press statement, shortly after she returned from the US this week, the actress was at the station in company of her lawyer, Bosun Osifowora stating that Seun Egbegbe’s threat has affected her business and colleagues and producers are afraid to call her for movie shoots because of the threat since they were aware of his violent nature.
While at the Commissioner of Police’ office, Seun was said to have recounted his position, prostrated and signed an undertaking never to hurt or disturb Toyin whether privately or in company of people.
He is also said to be under police watch now.
