The Vice-Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Prof. Hilary Edeoga, University of Agriculture Umudike, has expressed his gratitude to President Goodluck Jonathan for the unquantifiable transformation going on in the country especially in the education sector.
Edeoga who made this observation on the occasion of the 21st matriculation ceremony of the university, .maintained that posterity will not forget the present administration’s efforts towards repositioning all levels of education in the country for better.
The VC used the opportunity to advise the matriculating students to shun all acts of indiscipline that includes rape, gangsterism, cultism, extortion, examination malpractices and all other vices that will affect them negatively and truncate their academic journey which they have started.
He reminded them that the present management of the university has zero tolerance to all acts of indiscipline, advising them to commit their time and talents to only those things that will ensure that they enjoy
