Troops neutralise 2 terrorists, rescue kidnapped victims in Niger

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) Friday says troops of Operation FOREST SANITY neutralized one terrorist while others fled with gunshot injuries at Zago village, in Agaie Local Government Area of Niger state.
Director Defence Media Operations Major General Musa Danmadami disclosed this in a statement made available to Blueprint in Àbuja.

According to the statement, following a fire fight, troops troops exploited the general area and recovered two AK 47 rifles, one hand held RADIO, two mobile phones among other sundry items.
It noted that troops also rescued two victims.

“The military high command commends troops of Operation FOREST SANITY and encourages the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on criminal activities,” the statement read.
