True success lies in helping others succeed, says money coach Ashton Henry

Entrepreneur Aston Henry has challenged those who desire success in their endeavours to begin by helping others lead more fulfilling lives through taking greater control of their finances.

Quoting the Great Indian nationalist Mahatma Gandhi he said “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

Speaking at an event where he mentor young stars and entrepreneurs, he said “When you’re in debt and constantly worrying about how to pay the bills, put food on your table, and keep a roof over your head, life becomes an impoverished experience,”

“The worry over how to make ends meet can lead to a never-ending cycle of despair.”

While urging youngsters to be focused, he added that “When you’re frantically chasing the next dollar and counting down the days until the next paycheck, you are not in a place where you can develop your full potential and lead a life of positivity and fulfillment.”

He said “My mission in life is to help people throw off the shackles of financial woe and become the people they were born to be.”

Ashton said he doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the talk adding that as an international speaker, his insights on all things finance-related come from a place of personal experience.

According to him, “Tired of living from paycheck to paycheck, the man from Grenada decided something had to give, and so he entered the financial field intending to shake things up, and it worked!”

As the founder of Alliance and Alliance Nation, Ashton has helped thousands of people get their financial house lives in order, and helped almost a dozen people others step up to the plate as seven-figure earners.

Ashton explained, “There’s no great secret to what I do, I’m just fiercely dedicated to helping others. I believe if people really understand how money and the economy work, then they caouldn become financially literate, and once you’re financially literate, the world is your oyster.”

The entrepreneur added, “I start by teaching people how to improve their credit scores, and then I help them pay off their debts by explaining how to secure the best interest rates. It’s not rocket science;, once they’re debt-free, they can use their financial freedom to invest and accumulate assets which will generate a passive and perpetual income.”

As someone who has made himself a small fortune through his financial expertise, Ashton is keen to stress that now it’s time for payback, giving back and empowering communities for the greater good.

“I’m fortunate to be in a very comfortable financial position and it wouldn’t sit well with me if I didn’t try to help others achieve what I have achieved,” explained Ashton.

“To succeed at the expense of others is no success at all, and I think it was Albert Einstein who once said, ‘Only a life lived for others is worthwhile.’ That really hits a nerve chord with me, because I believe if you can’t help make the world a better place, you’ve failed as a person.”
