Trust in the might of God

Are you facing difficulties? Or maybe you are going through a particularly challenging period of your life, this is the time to rest in the strength and comfort that God will provide when facing troubles of many kinds. Allow God to take glory and show Himself strong. “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” (2Chronicles 16:9).  I say to you today, God wants to show His power, His strength, on your behalf! Amen.
All power and might comes from God, hold on steadfast to Him and he will sustain you and see you through, no matter the challenge. Surrender to Him today and let the peace that He gives you take over. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you,  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”. (Isaiah 41:10).

You may feel like the whole world is against you right now and even close allies have let you down. Everything seems to be falling apart? Cast all your worries on to God right now, He is about to do a new thing in your life. As a Christian you need to surrender to the strength that God provides and His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Be encouraged that it is not your strength that is needed but the strength that God willingly supplies. “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God,   the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint,  and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;   they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary;   they shall walk and not faint”. (Isaiah 40:28-31).

Are you struggling through a situation today and are grasping for answers? How should you respond? Respond with faith and not fear, have confidence that the promises of God and His mighty hand will hold you through any situation! Remember always that if God brings you to it, He will bring you through it! “But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth”. (2 Timothy 4:17)

Know that the challenge you face today has been encountered by others before you. God is faithful, and He will not let you be challenged beyond your ability. He will provide you with the strength so that you may be able to endure it. “And Jesus answered them,  “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen”.( Matthew 21:21)

Also remember that every challenge or struggle in life is to fulfill Gods’ divine purpose in your life. You may be on that journey right now in your marriage, career, business or health, remember that it is just a journey; it is not your final destination – which is Gods’ purpose and glory. You must draw on the divine power and strength of God to see you through this journey, however daunting it may be. Do not lose focus, persevere and pray constantly. Look for the positive in your current situation, look for that silver lining for every cloud has one! No challenge no testimony and no glory!

Job in the bible loved God and obeyed God yet he went through a trying period when everything was very gloomy. He did not let his situation weigh him down to the extent of departing from the way of God. His trust in God was unwavering. He drew on the power and strength of God through prayer and meditation. Job overcame all the trials and tribulations and became established beyond all his expectations. He had everything in surplus. Gods purpose in his life was fulfilled because he never wavered or doubted the power of God. “In his neck remains strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.” Job 41:22

You need to draw strength from God almighty through prayer and meditation. You need to have faith and trust God so completely that He is your strength. Imagine how much faith it took for Abraham to be willing to sacrifice his long awaited son Isaac! But he trusted God completely and God rewarded his faith in Him.

Jesus has truly overcome the world the day He gave His life for all on the cross. Be at peace and be encouraged knowing it is Him who is mighty to save. He will not leave you or forsake you. It is only the power and strength that comes from God that carries us on.

Somebody once said that “If you partner with God, Make your plans big!” I pray for you today to make God your partner. Whatever your burden is that caused you to search for strength, cast it up to him now in prayer.

Do not let another minute go by without completely surrendering your burdens to Him. God wants to be your strength. Surrender to Him in your weakness and let Him show Himself strong. Allow God to take the glory in your life today. “The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him”. (Exodus 15:2)

Brethren, do not lose heart or become discouraged, put your trust and hope in God through Jesus Christ. Keep the faith and pray continually seeking the face of God and He will be with you. I pray that this word of God fills your heart with hope, do not worry.
Say this prayer – In the name of Jesus, I believe in the strength and power of almighty God, from today I put my trust in the only true God, holy spirit help me to trust and wait on God for my divine testimony. Amen. Thank you Father.
