Turkey school offers Nigerian students 90% scholarship

Wisdom House College in partnership agreement with Goodmus Learning Centre has offered 90 per cent scholarship to Nigerian stu- dents who wish to study in Turkey.
The collaboration came after the Nigeria government entered into a bilateral agreement to offer 90 per cent scholarship to Nige- rian students who are inter- ested in studying in Wisdom House College and Goodmus Learning Centre.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Goodmus Learn- ing Centre, Mr. Badmus Adekunle said: “The signature of the agreement with the Turkish government, Goodmus Learning Centre appointed Wisdom House Colleges as their sole representative in Nigeria to recruit students for them into over seventy Public Universities in Turkey.
“The 90 per cent scholarship tuition makes students pay fees ranges from €200 to €1,143 depending on the course.
Medicine is the only course on the high side, which is €1,143 (about N457, 200) for a whole academic session.
”It then means anyone who is not putting in for Medicine will not pay anything close to that of Medi- cine”, he added.
According to him, vocational studies, which will run for just two years cost €286Euros, Masters programme cost €388 as tuition fee, while Ph.D pro- grammes for four years will cost €388”, he disclosed.
He further stated that over thirty students benefited from the offer last year and the admission for 2018 is already ongoing with qualifi- cation examination for next admission coming up Oct 27, 2018.
“Representatives from Turkey will be coming to conduct the examination although the examination is not a determinant of whether the student will get the scholarship or not.’’
