Two Nigerians living abroad have recently designed an Online Live TV and Movie Streaming service that no any other live TV stations or movie streaming service providers can match. Th e app, Entertale is a TV styled Internet service that allows users to watch over 35 live TV stations for free, while setting itself apart with its social features. According to the founders, Bamidele Adetayo who bases in the

US and Suleiman Nadabo based in Sweden, the story of Entertale begins as an entertainment blog that ran and test apps to see how people want to consume movies and TV shows and connect with friends. Th e app, which will be launched this month, is free and it doesn’t require monthly subscription, and the 35 live channels would comprise international and Africa-based TV stations. “Like Aljazeera, France 24, CNN, BBC, TVC Nigeria, AIT, NTV Uganda, NTV Kenya, KTN news, Africa News, Joy TV, Bloomberg, MovieMax, Hawk Music and many more interesting channels.

“Th e web service which is solely focused on TV, allow users to rent movies that they are only interested to watch, see notifi cations on what your friends are watching, follow, chat, and do live video call with friends. “Also, the company is adding a feature called Coplay, which allow users the options to watch movies they rented with friends. “Th e application does feel a bit like watching television in an alternate reality where you don’t recognize any of the shows, while evolving a new space that has been lacking in the African entertainment Industry. “Cord cutting might be getting another Kin but this time it is driven with a social experience – a free service that mimic the cable box with Internet channels instead of traditional ones and cinematic experience,” they noted. Th ey however said that the app is still in its web versions where much of the content comes from YouTube. “In its movie model cases, Entertale also makes direct content deals with big independent studios to access their latest library,” they added.
