Tottenham will head to the Amsterdam Arena to take on Ajax. The Lilywhites will be aiming to overturn a first leg deficit, and to do so they have to get past the competition’s dark horses.
Their first leg defeat was followed by a surprise defeat to Bournemouth at the weekend. Coupled with the fact that the squad has been hit by several injuries, Mauricio Pochettino’s men will have it all to do to reach a historic final.
Ajax on the other hand have a fully fit squad at their disposal and were able to rotate in their 4-0 win over Willem II at the weekend. The Dutch side haven’t lost a game since March, but will be wary of the fact that Tottenham’s only visit to the Amsterdam Arena ended in a 3-1 victory for the English side. A repeat of that scoreline, will see Ajax make an exit.
