Hon George Ugbomah has emerged winner with score of 74 net at a golf kitty held over the weekend at the prestigious Ibori Golf and Country Club (IGCC), put together to celebrate the new handicap of Chike Anyansi.
The exciting golf kitty saw Esenwan and C. Nwani retuning first and second runners respectively while L. Ndarake beat Rimlinger who got third runner up prize and Graceili second runners up and V. Ebreneyin the runners up to win the ladies category.
The 88 participants that came from top golf clubs in the country had fun filled memories of the tricky topography of IGCC golf course with a big get-together that followed during the prize presentation, where 25 Trophies were presented to all categories of players.
The sponsor of the event Chike Anyansi who joined the golfing family barely three months ago was full of appreciations to all golfers and friends that travel down to IGCC course located at Ilukwu Illah Road, GRA Phase 1, Asaba, Delta State for the epic tourney.
Anyansi however specially thanked the IGCC members for a successful execution of a grand Kitty that looks like a golf tournament, while pledging to do his best to enhance development of golf at the grassroots.
Among dignitaries that monitored the event live on zoom was Prince Ned Nwoko who owns a Golf Course in Idumuje Delta State, he commended the sponsor of the event for his wiliness spirit to invest in the game of golf.
