One of the groups agitating for the emancipation of Biafra from Nigeria, Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra, (MASSOB), has described Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, as the worst governor Enugu state has produced since 1999.
This is despite all the encomiums and accolades being showered on Governor Ugwuanyi by some groups and individuals as the best thing that has happened to Enugu since inception in 1996.
But contrary to encomiums and many thank you visits by communities and individuals, MASSOB said that Ugwuanyi has not lived up to expectation as a governor but rather has fallen short of expectation.
The pro-Biafra group, to prove that Ugwuanyi indeed has failed as a governor, in a release by the Director of Information, Edeson Samuelson, noted that Ugwuanyi fell short of expectation and maintained that he was a failure.
“MASSOB still maintain that Ugwuanyi is the worst governor Enugu State has ever produced,” the group insists.
“Movement For the Actualization Of The Sovereign State Of Biafra, MASSOB wish to remind governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi that all his claims on Opi Nsukka dual carriage way, Miliken Hill, Ngwo, are nothing but just rehabilitation and repairs.
“The T.junction flyover that did not reach normal standard, a flyover with one lane was blocked because of his (Ugwuanyi’s) Hotel.
Ugwuanyi should visit Ebonyi state and see the number of standard flyovers built by Governor Dave Umahi.
“The former governor Sullivan Chime built many roads both in and outside the capital city of Enugu state without selling much land like Ugwuanyi did.
Chimaroke Nnamani built Ebeano tunnel, Park Lane Specialist Hospital, state judiciary quoters, international conference centers, ESUT permanent site.
“Governor Ugwuanyi has inflicted pains on the masses of Enugu state.
“MASSOB still maintain that Ugwuanyi is the worst governor Enugu state has ever produced,” they insist.”
