The Court of Appeal sitting in Jos, Plateau state capital will on Monday hear the appeal filled by Senator Jeremiah Useni pending before it against the election of Governor Simon Lalong.
Senator Useni is challenging the judgement of the Plateau state governorship election tribunal which affirmed the declaration and subsequently returned Lalong as the valid winner of the 2019 poll.
According to a notice of hearing from the court registrar signed by Rukaiya, the matter between Senator Jereimah Useni and others being the appellant versus Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and two other respondents is for hearing on November 4, 2019.
Blueprint recalls that Useni’s appeal is hinging on the position of the tribunal as one of his ground of appeal among others.
