Abuja residents are currently wallowing in fear hours after armed robbers reportedly dropped threat letters around Mpape, a suburb near highbrow Maitama district of the Federal Capital Territory.
The fear was heightened Thursday morning after many woke up to the information emanating from daredevil men.
Though, Police authorities have assured if their readiness to secure the area, however some of the residents who spoke to Blueprint have expressed worry over the latest development.
One of the residents who spoke but preferred to lie low said, “I’m not really comfortable with this threat. The issue has been reported to the Police.
“How can these people have the gut to tell us to prepare for them with specific amount of money. And they come, we should hand it over to them.”
