Corps Commandant-General of Nigeria Elite Security Organisation (NESO), Comrade Sani Aliyu, has identified problems of unemployment and the corrosive nature of corruption in the polity as threats to national security.
Aliyu made the assertion at the occasion of Nigerian Elite Security Organisation (NESO) commandant training ceremonial parade at the royal institute for human capital development Zuba, Gwagwalada area council Abuja FCT with the theme: “deploying facelessness in the war against terrorism for sustainable peace in Nigeria,” explained that anyone that lacked the basic necessities of life could be pushed into doing anything to survive.

According to him, a person who lacks necessities of life is not a free person in his choice of how to service, such person who lacks food – security is thus a threat to security of his neighbors.
He remarked that equality of opportunity is a significant factor of social stability and security.

The commandant general further stressed that the hydra-headed harm that corruptive influences had wrought on the polity must be curtailed as it was an essential part of winning back the confidence of the people to make necessary sacrifices in lifting the country to higher level of morality.

Earlier, in his remarks, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman, board of trustees, NESO, HRH Alhaji Gen. Yahaya Abubakar (retd), represented by Sen. Nda Yako (Nagenu Nupe) described NESO initiative as “commendable and worthy of emulation.”
