UniLag has zero tolerance for child abuse – Mgt




The attention of the University of Lagos management has been drawn to the case of the alleged molestation of a four-year-old pupil of the University of Lagos Women Society (ULWS) Nursery and Primary School, Akoka, Lagos by a driver.

A press release signed by principal assistant registrar, communication unit, University of Lagos, Mrs. C. Taiwo Oloyede, said Unilag has zero tolerance for child molestation,  sexual abuse and other forms of social vices. She reassured the general public that the institution would not tolerate any form of child abuse from any quarter.

“We wish to reassure all our stakeholders, parents, members of staff and the general public that the management of ULWS Nursery and Primary School and University of Lagos will not treat this matter with levity as it is currently tackling the case with every sense of responsibility, seriousness and transparent pursuance of justice,” the statement read.
