Unilorin, FUT Minna, KWASU for Kwara Trade Fair

 

Three universities, namely; University of Ilorin, Kwara State University, Malete and Federal University of Technology , Minna have indicated their interest to participate in the 7th Kwara state trade fair coming up between March 26 and April 6 in Ilorin.
Also, the Kwara state Polytechnic, Ilorin has indicated interest to participate in the fair being organised by the Kwara state Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA).
Announcing the readiness of the university to join the list of others, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Sulyman Age Abdulkareem, said the university has a lot to showcase to the world through the fair.
Abdulkareem announced this when the Director General of KWACCIMA, Prince Suleiman Ayodele Fagbemi, visited him in his office.
The VC, who was responding to KWACCIMA DG’s invitation to the university to come and showcase some of its research outputs at the trade fair said, “We have plenty things that we can showcase.”
Abdulkareem expressed the hope that people would show interest in the research efforts to be showcased and sustain that interest for the benefit of the country.
“I can assure you that I will let my Deans in related areas know that something like this is coming up and that FUTMinna is coming. The office I left before becoming Vice-Chancellor takes care of things like this and I assure you that we will be there, we will be well represented,” he said.
