Best Nnadozie Okereke, is Igbo businessman and entrepreneur, from Okigwe local government area of Imo State. He gained admission into Anambra State University (now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University) Igbariam Campus to read Law but something in him could not accept the sedentary life of a lawyer. After 3 years of toiling in the field of law he switched to Mass Communications.
“I needed to study a course that would go inline with my passion while accommodating my love for extra curricular activities,” he said
Immediately Best Okereke graduated from Anambra State University he had a burning desire to establish his own business. Even as an undergraduate he displayed his entrepreneurial acumen by founding a campus magazine named Campus Talkative. Okereke was circulating his publication free of charge to students and only surviving on adverts revenue. Concurrently, he was also a blogger with a blog site called ‘Gistmeansu”.
After graduation he worked briefly with Barr. Kingsley Ezekwelu, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obianor on media. He was later attached to the office of the Vice Chancellor; PRO department as an online editor.
“Working for people played its role in my life too, but I knew I did not belong there. I read a lot of books by Robert Kiyosaki,” he recalled.
After his brief stint with the Anambra State he threw in his lots with his father who was running a company known as Goodey Best Multi-Biz Limited.
“The company belonged to my father. It was established in 2014. I joined him in 2018 in grand style and we moved into renewable energy the same year. We do sales and installation of solar power and all its components,” he said
“We have executed various levels of projects including supply, design, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance. The utility scale solar farm projects of Vertical solar in Nigeria has proven to be one of the most beneficial projects for the end user with the highest energy generation and thereby the return on investment,” he added.
Best Nnadozie Okereke runs Goodey Best group from Ukwulu Anambda State with offices in Anambra and Enugu.
He was born May 19, 1993. He attended the DENGRAM; Dennis Memorial Grammar School, in Onitsha, Anambra state where he did his junior secondary school before moving to Federal Government college in Enugu for senior secondary school.
