UPP begins repositioning, constitutes Anambra exco

The United Progressive Party’s (UPP) National Working Committee (NWC) has reconstituted a 28-member State Working Committee for Anambra state chapter of the party.

This was contained in a statement issued Monday by the party NWC which listed Chief Patrick Udealor as the chairman and Mmuo Cletus as secretary. 

The party said the action was part of the processes of the implementation of the party policy of repositioning the stateChapters of party for improved political activities.

According to the statement issued by the party national chairman, Chief Chekwas Okorie, the new initiative is intended to promote the party manifesto and the objective principles of its constitution as well as the growth of the party and its membership.

“This exercise shall be on state by state basis to ensureeffectiveness and better coordination. 
Consequently, the National Working Committee has approved the reconstitution of the state Working Committee of the Anambra state chapter of the United Progressive Party,” Chief Okorie said in the statement.

Further, the statement said the new state working committee shall be formally inaugurated in due course.
