Uzoho dropped by Deportivo La Coruna for pre-season game

The first choice goalkeeper of the senior national team of Nigeria Francis OdinakaUzoho is facing the prospect of limited playing time at Spanish second division side Deportivo La Coruna, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
As exclusively reported during the week, the goalkeeper who kept goal for Nigeria in their three games at the World Cup in Russia has been told that he won’t be first choice goalkeeper, when action commences in the league later this month.
He was told in clear terms that he will alternate between the first team and the B team as third choice goalkeeper of the club but he is sure guarantee to get games with the B team in the third division.
Uzoho is not entirely happy with the decision by the coach and as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com he is already looking at other alternatives to keep his spot as the first choice goalkeeper of the national team of Nigeria.
Yesterday coach of Deportivo La Coruna dropped Uzoho from the squad that prosecuted the friendly game against Valladolid which ended 1-1 as they step up preparations ahead of the start of the season with the duo of DaniGimenez who kept goal in the game and Ortola picked.
Coach Naxto Gonzalez signed Ortola on loan from Barcelona where he kept 30 league games for the B team in the second division last season and same coach also brought in 35 year old Gimenez who was second choice goalkeeper at LaLiga side Real Betis last season.
It appears they will be his first choice options in goal leaving Uzoho in his spot as third choice goalkeeper, same spot he occupied last season when he has his breakthrough at the club.
