The Vice presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Kashim Shettima, has referred to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi as a popular comedy character, Giringori.Shettima stated this at a political meeting recently.
In a video making the rounds on social media, Shettima could be heard saying;”Peter Giringori Obi. I call him Giringori. Giringori is my play but Giringori has absolutely nothing to offer apart from dubious statistics”Giringori was a character in the now-rested TV series, New Masquerade, played by veteran actor James Iroha, who died in 2012.
