Walama lauds Dankwambo on development

A pressure group, the Walama Network, has praised Gombe state governor, Dr Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo for taking the state to greater heights through uncommon developments of all sectors of the state.
In a statement released in Abuja yesterday, the group which is promoting the candidature of a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmed Abubakar Walama as successor to Dankwambo, said the “governor has improved the lives of the teeming Gombe people through quality education, water supply, road constructions, security and youth empowerment.”
The statement signed by Hon Sani Abubakar, observed Dr Dankwambo, (Talban Gombe) is a result-oriented leader whose pedigree should be emulated by all leaders of note.
He said: “No one would like to associate himself with failure but success. Hon. Ahmed Abubakar Walama is a silent achiever and therefore needs our total support and consideration to succeed our amiable governor, Dr Dankwambo, as the next governor of the state.
“The good people of Gombe want to have someone as the next governor who can continue with the goodwill of the governor. In Walama we find that same man. My findings reveal he is a unique political feature and regarded as a crowd puller who can as welldeliver if given the necessary support.
“Walama, who enjoys cordial relationship with all, is regarded as the right candidate, considering his political experience and track record. It is in view of the foregoing that we have come together as a group, united by a common belief and commitment to the Walama vision to bring to fruition, an Ahmed Abubakar Walama candidature in2019,” he said.
