WASCO unveils Maryam Booth As North’s brand ambassador

As part of its ongoing strategy of growing its market share in Nigeria, the West Africa Seasoning Company limited,  the manufacturer of leading monosodium glutamate Seasoning, popularly known as AJI-NO-MOTO,  has thurday in Kano unveiled a  renowned Kannywood actress and fashion entrepreneur, Maryam Adamu Booth as its brand ambassador for the northern Nigeria market.

Speaking at the ceremony which had attracted representatives from the manufacturing, retail and regulatory sectors held at the conference hall of the Bristol Palace Hotel in Kano ,  Booth expressed her determination to support and work with the WASCO team to expose AJI-NO-MOTO  as the leading MSG brand in the northern market that guarantees health culinary satisfaction.

According to her, even though the brand has had to cope with encroachment into its market share by competitors, especially masked distributors of unwholesome illegal MSG wraps from China  AJI-NO-MOTO has remained consistent in delivering quality seasoning for wholesome culinary delights for  families over the years.

She said” I am aware that I have vital role to play in educating, engaging and empowering the consumers on why AJI-NO-MOTO  should be their number one seasoning, as it is also my only choice for making heathy, delicious tasty meals and also creating happy memories for the family  when used in cooking compared to competing brand or Chinese illegal new rap”.

In his address at the occasion, the  Managing Director, Mr. junichi Niki reiterated his Company’s commitment to the Nigerian economy while continuing to satisfy the needs of the market through the provision of unique and quality products and investing consistently in research and the  development of its workforce.

He further enjoined regulators not to rest on their oars in ridding the market of illegal and unwholsome MSG imported from China by some unscrupulous businessmen positing that that the company had over the years maintained its high profile as manufacturing outfit which presence was noted to have recorded an appreciable impact in over 130 countries the world over.
