Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte have hit the scales ahead of their WBC heavyweight title showdown at Wembley Stadium.
During Friday afternoon’s weigh-in, Fury came in at 264.8lbs, his lightest since his first meeting against Deontay Wilder in December 2018.
‘The Gypsy King’ bulked up for his second and third battles with Wilder, coming in at a huge 277lbs last October for their trilogy fight but has slimmed back down for Saturday’s Battle of Britain.
Whyte meanwhile hit the scales at 253lbs.
‘The Body Snatcher’ comes in 6lbs heavier than he did for his rematch victory over Alexander Povetkin last year.
Fury meanwhile is 12lbs lighter than last October’s war with Wilder.
The two shared a stare down on stage but there were no additional fireworks as the two shook hands in their final face-to-face before the opening bell, swapping hats before parting ways.
This week’s press conference saw the first face-to-face meeting between Fury and Whyte.
The Londoner had previously refused to take part in media duties promoting the fight due to a legal row between his camp and the fight’s promoter Frank Warren, instead choosing to remain in his fight camp in Portugal.
Wednesday’s press conference was a friendly affair with the only tension coming during the face-off when members of each man’s team escalated the situation.
Tyson’s father John and Dillian’s half-brother Dean exchanged words with the fighters playing peacemakers, attempting to calm things down and ordering them to move away from the stage.
