We must unite to fight insecurity in Katsina-Masari

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state has expressed the readiness of his administration to brainstorm with relevant stakeholders on the issue of security to move the state forward.

Masari made this assertion when he met with the leadership of the state Inter Party Advisory Committee at the Government House council chambers in katsina  Tuesday.

The governor expressed appreciation with the presence of the committee and said government would update them on efforts so far made and what it is doing to address the situation in the state.

He stated that the issue of security should be looked at beyond partisan consideration, urging them to give holistic advise to secure the state and its people.

“We should look at the issue of security beyond partisan consideration. We have no any other place than Katsina state, if Katsina state is secured, all of us are secured,” he said.

“Inrespective of our political Lenin and believes, am sure a kidnapper visiting any house or any person or armed robber or bandits would not demand for your membership card of which political party that one belongs.

“So the issue of security is beyond partisan consideration.  Let us collectively as Katsina state indigenes unite and fight it, because it is only if we succeed in fighting and bringing it to the bearest level, then we can be able to play the politics we want to play,” he stated.
