‘We’ll beef up security in Gwagwalada’

The new Deputy Superintendent of Police of Gwagwalada Divisional  Area Command, Mr. Patrick Daaor, has said that his administration would ensure that the peace and security which is  being enjoyed in Gwagwalada is maintained at all cost.

Speaking at the first general meeting of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) of Gwagwalada branch, Daaor said the police would go after persons or groups that are security threat to the area, because his administration would not condone any act that could cause flouting of law and order in the council

He stated he was in the division on a national assignment to enforce and maintain law and order, adding that he would discharge his duties to the satisfaction of the people.
He warned: “I shall not compromise anything that will cause breach of public peace, riotous conduct and any other act likely to cause a break-down of law and order in the society.”

He called on the residents to always provide the police with useful informations for effective discharge of their duties.
In his remarks, the Chairman of PCRC Gwagwalada Branch, Prof. Williams Chukwendu Nwoha, urged the police not to relent in their efforts in securing the lives and property of the people in the area.
He also advised PCRC members to see the community policing as a call to service of their fatherland.
