We’ll create enabling environment for business – Atiku


The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former vice president Atiku Abubakar, has promised to create an enabling environment for business activities.

Atiku who made this promise at PDP Presidential campaign rally in Sani Abacha Stadium, at Kano state, was at about 6pm on Sunday received by mammoth crowd who had gathered since 10am.

Wazirin Adamawa amidst cheering party supporters, colorfully dressed in their white and red cap attire of the Kwankwasiya Movement, promised to perform better than the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari if elected.

He said, “Are you all going to vote PDP? If you vote for PDP my own promise is, the wealth of Kano is business, Kano’s wealth is agriculture. If you vote for PDP I will return your wealth, create environment for businesses to strive and empower farmers.

Referring to the APC, Atiku said, “These people have killed your businesses and farming. I promise you all that, I will create wealth and businesses if you vote for PDP. After that, I will also allow you to live freely.

He charged all the people of Kano state to vote for PDP from top to bottom, and from bottom to top.

On his part, a two term governor of Kano state and leader of the Kwankwasiya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, also urged the youths to vote for PDP all through.

Kwankwaso who managed to address the party faithful as ‘Sai Kwankwasiya’  rented the air said, “Today the 10 of February, 2019 God has brought before you all Atiku Abubakar,  Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), today see Atiku Abubakar in Kano with a red cap, with white clothe and black shoe. Today see Secondus in Kano with red cap, white clothe and black show. Today is Bukola in Kano wearing black shoe, white clothe and red cap. On the day of election, which party will you vote for? PDP. From the bottom to the top, from the top to the bottom.

He said the massive turnout was an indication that “Kano is Kwankwasiya and Kwankwasiya is Kano”.

In his remarks, national chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus warned that with thousands of party faithful in the rally no one can rig Kano state elections.

He said, “Those Nigerians that are watching from their androids and handsets, you can see that Kano has fallen. Kano is now completely 100 percent PDP. You must be convinced that you cannot come to Kano to rig election.

“We call on INEC and security agencies to see what is going on in Kano. It is like a revolution and the people have turned around, they have agreed that they will vote for PDP and therefore on the 16th of February, come out in your numbers, vote for PDP, vote for Atiku. He will restore security. He will make sure that jobs are created and he will put food on the table of Nigerians. By the special grace of God, Atiku Abubakar is the next President of Nigeria. And Abba is the next governor of Kano, Secondus added.
