We’ll maximise resources for robust health care – Kano govt

The Kano state government has expressed its determination to maximise   its resources to entrench a robust health system in the state.

 The move is to ensure that indigenes of the state have access to quality and affordable health care in 2020.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Usman Bala Mohammad,  stated this over the weekend at a three-day Annual Operational Plan (AOP)  development workshop in health sector for the year 2020 held in Kaduna state.

He said the present administration has accorded priority attention to the health sector in view of its sensitive and uniqueness nature.

 This, he stated  that this made the state  government to embark on implementing various programmes and projects which has direct bearing to lives and wellbeing of the  people.

He urged participants to brainstorm and come up with realistic and clearly defined activities for 2020 annual operational plan for the state.

He commended the state government for organising the  the  workshop within  a short period of time.He also commended  other development partners for complementing government concerted efforts in this direction.
