We’re planning projects for Kano emirates – Ganduje

Kano state Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has disclosed of plans by his administration to execute more developmental projects in the five emirates in the state for the benefit of its teeming populace.

Ganduje gave the assurance while addressing thousands of people who came from the eight local government areas under Karaye to witness Hawan Kutifi organised by the emirate.

The eight local government areas under the new Karaye emirate are; Karaye, Gwarzo, Kabo, Rimin Gado, Shanono, Rogo, Kiru and Madobi.

Represented by his deputy, Dr Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, Ganduje  maintained that the administration had already completed arrangement to construct new hospitals that contain 400 beds at each of the emirates

“By so doing, our sole aim is to bring effective health delivery services closer to the people in the communities,” he disclosed.

He  said the new emirates were created to bring about progress to the socio-economy life of the people in the state, adding: “From what we are witnessing today, we can see a lot of changes and development in terms of unity and progress among the local government areas under Karaye emirate”.  

He, therefore, charged the eight local government areas under the emirate to give their maximum support and ensure full participation in its activities to ensure speedy development of their respective communities.

The governor thanked the district heads under the emirate who attended the traditional Hawan Kutifi and called on them to continue to cooperate with the emirate and give their maximum contributions to the development of the affected areas.

In his speech, the Emir of Karaye, Dr Ibrahim Abubakar Il, thanked Almighty Allah for making the Muslim ummah to witness the celebration  of the Eid el- Kabir and prayed for continuous  peace and stability in Kano and the nation at large.
