What Gbajabiamila told Tinubu on Chief of Staff appointment

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has reacted to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointment as his Chief of Staff.

Reacting in an appreciation letter sent to Tinubu, after his appointment on Friday, June 2, 2023, he thanked the President for finding him worthy of the position.

Gbaja wrote, “Having spent the last 20 years in the Nigerian Parliament, and after winning my 6th term election into the National Assembly, I shall work with Mr President in discharging the enormous task ahead of him for the peace and progress of the federal republic of Nigeria.

“I shall give my best when I take office on June 14 2023 as reflected.”

Blueprint had reported that Tinubu appointed Gbajabiamila alongside George Akume who will serve as the Secretary General of the Federation (SGF), following a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF).
