Why I’m involved in humanitarian activities – Oni

A young entrepreneur who doubles as a tech expert and humanitarian, Damilola Oni, has revealed why he chose to dedicate himself to humanitarian work.

The Mechanical engineering and technology graduate born May 20, 1997 in Mushin area of Lagos state said his humble beginnings prompted his push to delve into changing lives.

The Director at Jovilius Heart Foundation has contributed immensely in the lives of widows and th aged in various rural areas across the country.

Recently, he brought succour to over 500 women in Nasarawa State with the provision of various gift to cushion their sufferings.

According to him,” I grew up not having enough. I saw ho women in my community in Lagos suffer to train their children with petty roadside businesses. It can’t continue like that. I want them to be able to have something more lucrative that can fetch them a little more.

“That’s we provided them with Deep freezer, generator sets, tailoring machines , food stuffs , electronics like tv sets , computers etc. This would held in their various businesses.”

He promised to take the gesture to other communities and states of the federation.
