Why we decamped to APC in Jigagawa- PDP chieftain

Former chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa state, Alhaji Rabiu Dangabi, has stated that they opted to decamp from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) because of the good work of Governor Muhammad Badaru.

Dangabi, who disclosed this in Dutse Wednesday, said he did not join the party for but join hands with the governor to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

Dangabi, a former state House of Assembly member together with his supporters and many others that decided to leave the PDP are convinced the present administration is working hard to meet the expectation of the people and therefore think it necessary to join the progressive train.

“There was nothing like negotiation between me and anybody that if I defect to APC, I will be given or any of us that defected will be given appointment.

“I wonder why people are insinuating that we came because we were promised to be given political appointments.
“What the people are saying is far from the truth, we decided to abandon the PDP because of the good work of Gov. Muhammadu Badaru and President Muhamdau Buhari.

“We believe in APC manifestoes that is why we left our party, PDP and joined the APC,” he said stressing that he did not decamp to the APC in other to be considered for . (NAN)
