Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike and three other governors loyal to him, Sunday, stormed Benue state for the flag-off of PDP governorship campaign in the state.
The governors are Engr Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu) and Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu.
They arrived Makurdi, the Benue state capital on Sunday ahead of Monday flag-off of the governorship campaign.
The five governors are currently at daggers-drawn with the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), insisting that the National chairman of the party Iyorchia Ayu, should resign to pave the way for equity in the leadership of the party.
Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state received the governors on arrival at the Makurdi Airport.
Blueprint correspondent learnt that the governors are in Benue the state for the flag off the PDP campaign and the inauguration of projects executed by the Ortom administration.
