The Labour Party’s flag bearer, Peter Obi has expressed displeasure over Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup match in Qatar.
He assured that his administration, will invest in sports, if voted for in the forthcoming election.
Obi gave his assurance during his campaign flag-off at Nasarawa state, Saturday.
He also promised that he will work with his running mate to ensure that the needed resources are invested in information technology.
“A country like Nigeria — a country of 200 million people — we did not qualify for the World Cup,” he said.
