The President of the Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o, has apologised for physically assaulting a fan at the venue of the World Cup on Monday.
A statement on his Twitter handle, Tuesday, reads, “After the Brazil-South Korea match, I had a violent altercation with a person who was probably an Algerian supporter.
“I would like to apologise for losing my temper and reacting in a way that does not match my personality. I apologise to the public for this unfortunate incident.”
Blueprint had reported that the football legend attacked a man outside a stadium at the World cup in Qatar.
