Gunmen, Sunday evening, stormed the First Baptist Church, along Wetheral road Owerri, and kidnapped the wife of the General Manager of Imo Zoological Garden and Wide Life Owerri, Mrs Elizabeth Abioye.
An eyewitness who spoke to Blueprint said the abductors came in an ash-colour Sienna vehicle, clad in police-like black t-shirts, went into the church and picked their victim and went their way, an incident that force worshippers to run “helter skelter”.
As at the time of filing this report, no reactions had come from the Imo Police command and no words had been heard from her abductors.
