Yari berates APC national leadership over dissolution of Zamfara executives

The former Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara State has challenged the national caretaker committee chairman of APC, Alhaji Maimala Buni for dissolving the Zamfara state executives of the APC, describing the Buni’s decision as contrary to the constitution of the APC.

Yari stated this at the APC stakeholders meeting held at his residence in Talata Mafara Town, the Headquarters of Talata Mafara local government area of the state Today.

According to him, the national leadership of the APC under the leadership of Alhaji Maimala Buni has no legitimate right to dissolve the state executives of the APC in the state from wards, local government councils and state levels.

“I expected the national caretaker committee leadership the All Progressive Congress APC under the leadership of Alhaji Maimala Buni will respect the constitution of the APC and president Muhammadu Buhari who always advocated the need to always respect laws but he ignored it”. Yari contended.

He attributed the decision taken by the national caretaker committee chairman of the APC Alhaji Maimala Buni as lack merit, unconstitutional and undemocratic.

“We actually disagree with the decision made by the national caretaker committee chairman Alhaji Maimala Buni for dissolving our existing executives of the APC ranging from wards, local government councils and state levels and we condemned the decision in a strong term”. Yari stated.

He said he would remain in APC no matter what condition warrant him and welcome Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle for joining APC in the state, calling on Matawalle to be vigilant about those who will bring devide and rule policy among members of the APC, urging his supporters to remain calm and law abiding citizens.
