Yero: Jaba youths vow protest if…

Jaba youths in Southern Kaduna have vowed to stage a protest if Governor Mukhatar Ramalan  Yero refused to run for the governorship election in 2015.
Their chairman, Oliver Gyet, made the vow in a chat with newsmen in Daddu in Jaba local government.
He noted that it would be in the interest of the state for Yero to run for a fresh term in order to sustain his agenda, saying that “but if the governor refuses to answer our call for him to run in 2015, we will protest.”

He called on the governor to urgently make his intention known to the people of Kaduna state “so that his teeming supporters can redouble their campaign efforts.”
He said: “As we approach 2015, Oliver urged the youth to vote for continuity as Governor Yero and his deputy, Amb Nuhu Audu Bajoga, have all it takes to lead Kaduna state to greater heights.”
He called on the youth in the in general and Jaba youths in particular not to entertain any fears about Yero being at the helm of affairs.
“In fact, Governor Yero and his deputy have what it takes to take Kaduna state to the next level,” he added, and, therefore, urged the youth to put their minds at rest.
He lauded Yero’s development strides, noting that it had led to the rapid transformation of the state.
Oliver noted that with the open door policy of the governor and his deputy, Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga, it was clear that the governor made a good choice.
He enjoined them to continue with that gesture “so that it would make the desired impact on the lives of the people.”
