Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has laid the ground foundation
of N2.8 billion Damaturu ultra modern market, after 28 years of creation.
Performing the foundation laying ceremony, governor Buni said the project was a clear commitment to the economic development of the state.
The governor further said the project when completed would accelerate
economic growth, create jobs and encourage private sector to produce and innovate.
“The Damaturu Ultra-Modern market will be built by Euro Afric Energy
ltd at the cost of (two billion, eight hundred and thirty-seven, six hundred and ninety-seven, five hundred and fifty naira and twenty-five kobo (N2, 837, 697, 550.25).
