Yobe: Wife of security Guard gives birth to triplet, names them after Buhari, Maimala, Gubana

It was a joyous moment for the family of Sani Amadu, a security guard at Yobe State Local Government Service Commission when his wife Usaina last Saturday gave birth to male triplet at Bulabulin II in Damaturu, the
state capital.

He said since his wife gave birth during the electioneering period, he preferred to “name one of the babies after President Muhammadu Buhari, one after APC Gubernatorial candidate in Yobe, Maimala Buni and the other after his running mate, Idi Barde Gubana.”

Amadu who further said he was grateful to Allah for the safe delivery of the babies and their mother who was in good health however sought assistance of meaningful individuals to help him in providing sufficient food for the family.

The Security Guard who already has three children before the arrival of the triplet, said he was expecting more children adding: “since God is the giver of children I’m not thinking of any family planning.”

Blueprint gathered that Amadu lives in a suburb, close to the state capital, where there are no light, access road and other social amenities.

When our correspondent visited the family house, he sighted neighbours bringing in one thing or the other like fire wood, water among
others.

Saturday is slated for the naming ceremony.
