Chairman, Yoruba Traditional Council in the 19 Northern states and the FCT, Ambassador Muhammad Arigbabuwa, has urged Nigerians to pray for the success of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government.
Aribadabuwa, who made the call in a chat with newsmen in Kaduna yesterday, said it had become necessary for all of Nigerians, irrespective tribe or religion, to “come together and pray for our leaders.”

According to him, government needs the support of all and sundry to be able to execute its programmes to move the country forward.
He commended the present administration’s efforts in the last two years, but urged them not to relent in their efforts to “clean the mess left behind by past government.”

He said the last two years of the APC government had shown that despite the economic recession, “there is still hope for country,” adding “during the year under review, the administration has waged war relentlessly on corruption and corrupt practices which had eaten deep into the society before the advent of this government.”
“Is now left for all of us to support this government in that crusade and safe the future of our country.”
He prayed for the save return of President Muhammad Buhari from his medical trip to Britain and urged all Nigerians and her friends to continue to pray for his safe return.
