You ‘re causing chaos in Zamfara, Matawalle tells Minister, ex-gov Yari

The Zamfara state Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle has accused the Minister of Police Affairs Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi and former Zamfara  governor Abdulaziz Yari of sponsoring political thugs who launched babaric attacks on members of the Peoples Dimocratic Party (PDP) in Bakura town,  of Bakura local government council.

The allegged attack led to death of two PDP supporters during campaign for state assembly bye election for Bakura slated fot this Saturday.
The governor stated this at a press conference Thursday night shortly after he returned from Bakura town.

According to him, what Yari and minister of police affairs did to his people “was undemocratic and lack sense of maturity.”
Matawalle further called on President Muhammadu Buhari to call the Minister and former Yari to order.

“I think minister of police affairs being a son of the soil of our neighboring state of Sokoto is among those who are ridiculing the image of our President because since he came on board, he has never done anything that could help us to bring the end of the Insecurity in Zamfara and his state but unfortunately he came and caused havoc just because of the state Assembly bye election,” he said.

He urged members of PDP in the state to remain law abiding citizens and be good ambassadors particularly during campaign, bye election and beyond for the sustainable peace of the state.
