You’re loyal, patriotic son of Plateau, Lalong felicitates with Wase @56

Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state Monday said House of Representatives deputy speaker, Ahmad Idris Wase, is a dedicated, loyal and patriotic son of the state.

Governor Lalong stated this while congratulating the deputy speaker, on the occasion of his 56th birthday, in a press statement signed by his director of press and public affairs, Dr. Makut Macham.

He described the deputy speaker as one of the dedicated, loyal and patriotic sons of the state who continues to serve the state and the nation with integrity and excellence.

He said: “The Ahmed Wase is a consummate politician and a reliable ally who put the interest of his people above personal gains. He has used his influence to promote the cause of Plateau state by putting up strong arguments and lobbying for the good of the state at the National Assembly,” he said.

Lalong recalled that recently, the deputy speaker led a delegation of all elected National Assembly members from Plateau state who donated some money to the Plateau state COVID-19 Endowment Fund. He also personally donated palliatives to the state and many people in his constituency.

The governor also appreciated the deputy speaker for supporting the programmes and projects of the Rescue Administration in Plateau state as well as personally executing constituency projects that have touched the lives of the people positively.
