You’ve done so much for humanity, SWAN FCT tells RSDF boss on his birthday

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) FCT chapter has congratulated the President of Ratels Sports Development Foundation (RSDF), Barr. Paul Edeh, as he marks his birthday on Wednesday July 27, 2022.

In a congratulatory message via a press statement in Abuja, chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) FCT, Mr. Ndubueze Chidoka, lauded the exploits of the seasoned sports administrator who he described as a mentor and builder of many especially youths.

The SWAN chairman recalled how Barr. Edeh, proprietor of one of Nigeria’s rising women football club Naija Ratels, has been singledly sponsoring young Nigerian youth to discover and attain their full potential mostly in the area of education and sports development.

“Barr. Edeh is exceptional in many ways. Apart from engaging over 40 young people as players and officials of his football club, Naija Ratels, he has continued to sponsor the academic process of many persons.

“That is not all, he has steadily embarked on so many philanthropic projects including sponsoring different competitions from start to finish with unimaginable prizes and scholarships.

“His love for human development is unequalled. To see how he does all these with his personal hard-earned money is rare to come by,” he said.

Mr. Chidoka recalled with nostalgia how the young and vibrant Naija Ratel FC Chief Executive Officer has passionately and steadily set a new pace in the growth and sustained development of two women clubs in the country.

“In not too long a time that I have known Barr. Paul Edeh, his approach and passion in engaging young Nigerians especially the women in meaningful venture, using football as a veritable tool is amazing.

“He has invested and still investing his personal resources so much on many young footballers who are enjoying their career due to his desire to add value to their lives.

“On behalf of my professional colleagues, I pray that God almighty give you long life with fulfillment and utmost accomplishments now and always,” the SWAN chairman said.
