Zamfara: How Police uncovered ritualist’s house where top politicians plot evil



Zamfara state police command has discovered a ritualists house located at Unguwar Dallatu àrea in Gusàu, the state capital.

The Police authority said some top politicians hide inside the cubicle and plan evil machinations against each other especially leaders on seat in thee state by using unorthodox means to achieve their ill- conceived agenda.

The state commissioner of police, Usman Nagoggo, who revealed the latest development at a press conference at the command headquarters in Gusau Tuesday, said information available to the command indicated that the ritualist house has been turned to where evil doers plot all sorts of dangerous moves against the people of the state using different living creatures.

Nagoggo displayed , exhibits recovered from the house to include a Pot with many niddles with inscriptions on it, another pot with water and rosary, a calabash full of blood suspected to be human blood, an open pot with some local powder medicine, a local cattle designed like helmet with Arabic inscriptions, a local stuff with charcoal and scents, a polenthene bag containing cloths of many colours and design of human skeleton as well as a double foolscap paper containing names of many political leaders of the state respectively.

The commissioner further alleged that two suspects who engaged in the incantation ran away by time police operatives invaded the house.

He said investigation into the matter was ongoing.

Blueprint correspondent cited the names of the political leaders written in the foolscap paper found inside to include the names of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle, his Deputy, Mahdi Aliyu Gusau, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha, PDP stalwart Alhaji Usman Dankalili, state commissioner of security and home affairs, Abubakar Muhammad Dauran and State head of service, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe Dab’isah.
