Zamfara Police bans use of siren, revolving light others

The Zamfara State Police Command under the watch of CP. Abutu Yaro has finally banned all forms of utilization of, unauthorised and illegal use of Siren, revolving light, tinted glasses, unregistered covered and Spy Plate Numbers and tinted glasses by the motorists in the state.


This was made known by the command spokesperson Muhammad Shehu in a statement issued to journalists in Gusau, Zamfara Monday.


According to him, the Commissioner of Police CP Abutu Yaro, has directed all Area Commanders, DPOs and Police Tactical Units to ensure total Compliance as well as to embark on the arrest of violators of this order. 


“The Commissioner of Police CP Abutu Yaro has also directed the full enforcement of other traffic regulations”. SP. Shehu stated.

The Commissioner of Police further warned  that any person or group arrested in violation of this order will be investigated and made to face the full wrath of the law.. This according to the CP will serve as deterrence to others. 


He also called on members of the public to continue to be law abiding citizens and also cooporate with police and other security Agencies in an effort to rid the State of all form of criminal activities.
