Zaria-based Islamic scholar Dakace dies at 63

A Zaria-based Islamic scholar, Ustaz Samaila Abbass Dakace, has died in his residence at Dakace in Zaria local government area of Kaduna state after a brief illness.
His son, Abbas Samaila Abbas Dakace, confirmed the death yesterday, saying that Dakace, who died at the age 63, was survived by four wives and 18 children.
Until his death, he was the Chief of Dakace Jumu’at Mosque.
Our correspondent gathered that his remains would be buried today
